Biology Textbook Illustration Layout

My Role: information design Challenge: I had to first understand the concepts before making them understandable to anyone else. So, I essentially got paid to take high school biology again. Which was incredibly awesome. I would come home every day with a new “did you know” story that would gross out my wife! Solution: I sketched out the concepts and worked with illustrators for imagery. Then I put it all together in the final layouts while working closely with the biology editors.
